The vision of the California Collaborative for Inclusive Practices (CCIP) is that every student in California, including students with disabilities, thrives socially-emotionally and academically within inclusive learning environments.
CCIP will build the capacity of TK-12th grade educators in supporting students with disabilities to advance socially-emotionally, and academically, regardless of gender, race, learning differences, and socio-economic background through intentionally integrated equitable, and inclusive frameworks system-wide.
Why Inclusion?
CCIP will support LEA teams to create a systemic infrastructure that implements these evidence-based inclusive practice frameworks: Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) through data-informed decision making.
CCIP is committed to building the collective efficacy of general & special educators and their leaders, within every County Office of Education (COE), Local Education Agency (LEA), and school site to advance inclusive practices for Students with Disabilities locally, regionally, and across the state.
